Toolbar buttons
To the right of the main menubar are several toolbar buttons.
These offer the following functionality:
Brighter and
Dimmer
Each time one of these buttons,
which look like light bulbs that are on and off, is tapped the
limiting magnitude of the objects that will be displayed and their
corresponding symbol brightness when drawn increases or decreases by
one magnitude.
Step back and
Step forward
Each time these are
tapped they retard or advance the current PSC time by the amount
specified in the Single Step field of the Time
setup dialog.
This button toggles whether the local
horizon profile is drawn on the sky chart. See the
Horizon dialog to define the shape of the profile.
This button toggles whether the objects
on the sky chart are labeled. See the Options
dialog for count and formatting controls.
This toggle activates measure mode
by changing how the Sky acts when tapped with the stylus. When pushed in,
tapping will mark the starting position with a small circle. Then
dragging the stylus will display the current coordinates of the stylus
position, how much each coordinate differs from the starting position,
and the great circle arc length from the starting position. When popped
out, tapping brings up the Sky popup menu.
