Setup -> Time

Provides controls to set the time at which PSC computes its information, and options about how that time is changed and displayed. Tap X to dismiss the dialog without making any changes, or tap OK to install the new settings.

Start

This section specifies the time to which PSC time is set when the dialog is closed.

• Now causes PSC time to be set to the computer clock at the moment this dialog is dismissed;
• On causes PSC time to be set to the date and time specified in the two fields to the right, respectively. The date format is YYYY MM DD, time is HH MM SS.
• Resume continues at the current PSC time.

Run

This section sets how often and by what amount PSC automatically changes its time. The amount of change is called the Step interval. Time may be changed by one Step interval either manually each time the forward and backward toolbar buttons are tapped, automatically on a regular schedule, or both.

• Auto step every causes PSC to update its time automatically by the Step amount every so many seconds, as set in the field to the right. PSC will automatically increase this step amount if necessary to insure PSC remains responsive for at least two seconds between steps.

  The toolbar buttons may also be used any time to manually step time in between automatic updates. When this setting is Off, then time is changed by the toolbar buttons only.

• Step by real time rate causes the Step interval to be set automatically so as to maintain a steady flow of time in agreement with real wall clock time. The interval will be adjusted as necessary so there will be no net accumulated error.
• Step by sets the Step interval to a constant interval, as specified in the Hour and Minute fields to the right.

Options

• Display local selectes whether the times displayed by PSC are in the time zone specified in the Location dialog or in Universal Time.
